There is a possibility to add extra functionality to the Viewer n5. Plug-ins distributed here are self installable, automatically identifying Viewer installation folder, if it was properly installed. It's possible to develop your own custom plug-ins using the SDK with examples. Programming languages supported by the SDK are: Visual C++ 6 to 2008, Borland Delphi and C++ Builder. Attention, Plug-ins based on SDK version 2.X are not supported in Viewer n5.
This plug-in adds extended functionality for JPEG and TIFF formats, providing image and meta-data support for TIFF variations such as: PSIA, Fluoview, Metamorph Stack.
Also adds support for: JPEG-2000, PNG and Bio-Rad Pic.
Includes Lossless JPEG operations and increases overall reading/writing speed for this formats.
This plug-in is based on libtiff, libgeotiff, libjasper, libgeojasper, libjpeg, libpng code.

This plug-in adds many image formats supported by ImageMagick library. The new version of the plug-in is now self-contained and does not need ImageMagick library to be installed. Just install the plug-in! Note: read/write support for PostScript files requires GhostScript for windows to be installed. You can install it anytime after installing imageMagick plug-in.
